Richard N. Wright, Interim CIO

Mr. Wright is a senior technology leader with an extensive background in a multitude of industries. This includes over 25 years’ experience delivering large scale, complex technology solutions in payments, credit card processing, banking, analytics, business process automation and government.

In 1996, Mr. Wright joined Capital One as a software development manager and worked his way to the IT executive ranks, accountable for the credit card applications delivery organizations which included banking and analytics for the company.

Mr. Wright joined Fidelity National Information Systems as CIO for Fidelity National Information Services North America Card Operations. Responsible for the Information Technology software development organization, he delivered solutions to the multiple lines of business which included North America Credit Card Operations, Loyalty, and Merchant Processing.

The next step in his tenure with FIS was to lead the international software development division with 1,500 software engineers in India and the Philippines. He was accountable for the development and support of multiple financial services applications developed in India and delivered globally. Additionally, he had responsibility for the international infrastructure supporting the call centers in India, the Philippines and the United States, and established the first software development and support center for the company in the Philippines.

When he began his tenure as CIO for eMASON, Mr. Wright was challenged with establishing an organization capable of delivering products and services in the timely, quality manner needed to compete in the mortgage industry. This required developing an organization structure aligned with the products and business lines and recruiting for the gaps in senior leadership. Organizations to support the business were built from the "ground up" which included the Project Management Office, Infrastructure and Networking, Software Development and Support, and Training and Client Support.

Now as founder and CEO of Verto and Associates, LLC, he and his team provide clients with interim CIO leadership necessary to more closely align IT operations with the lines of business. By leveraging Verto’s strategic alliances, clients can solve myriad issues from improving organization effectiveness and leadership to enhancing speed to market of products and services.
